Updating a Member

STEP 1: Log into the Dashboard

If you are not already logged into the dashboard, go to (link) https://chahec.org/wp-admin/ and use your CHAHEC user name and password to log in.

STEP 2: Load any Updated Member Materials

You will only need to upload member materials that will be updated (such as new headshots).

The jpeg or png file will need to be added to the media file before proceeding. Go to the Media Files Help document to learn how to add media files -> https://chahec.org/docs/adding-media-files/

STEP 3: Select a Member

From the dashboard scroll down to “Members” then select “All Members”

From the list, hover over the Member Name and choices will appear below the name. Select the “Edit” choice.

Hover just below the Member Name to make update selections appear and choose “Edit”

Step 4: Update the Member Data

The member screen will open and you will be able to edit any of the fields including the member name.

To change where the member appears on the ‘About Us’ page, change the Morder to at least one more than the Member you wish to appear after (see the member list for Morder numbers).

Step 5: Save Your Changes

When you have completed the changes to the member fields be sure to press the “Update” button to save all the changes. View the ‘About Us’ page to be sure the changes were saved properly.
