Adding a New Member

STEP 1: Log into the Dashboard

If you are not already logged into the dashboard, go to (link) and use your CHAHEC user name and password to log in.

STEP 2: Load Member Materials

You will need the picture or headshot of the new member (jpeg or png format) to represent the member on the About Us page

The member jpeg or png, will need to be added to the media file before proceeding. Go to the Media Files Help document to learn how to add media files ->

STEP 3: Create Member

From the dashboard scroll down to “Members” then select “Add New Member”

Select ‘Add New Member’ from Dashboard

This is the selection to enter either a new Board Member or a new Staff Member.

Step 4: Enter New Member Info

The ‘Add Title’ Box is where you will enter the member name
The “Morder” field will contain a number that will determine the display order (between which members the new one will appear). View the ‘About Us’ page and determine which member the new member will appear after. View that members Morder and assign that Morder+1 to the new member. You can change the Morder at any time to re-position the member.
Add the member “Role” and below that any titles they may hold. Select the choose media button to retreive the member Headshot. Finally, type out the member bio (or cut and paste). You can format the paragraph as you want it to appear.

Step5: Save Member

Select the member type (either Board for Board Member or Staff for Staff Member.

Once you select the Member Type on the right side of the screen, scroll to the top and select the “Publish” button to save the member info.
